Dr Suzanne Williams is a GP, clinical academic and long-time advocate for equitable, whole-person healthcare. She’s been with Sandstone Healthcare since 2007, pioneering chronic disease care that puts people, not processes, first. Growing up in Wacol, she was drawn back to Inala to serve the diverse community she knows so well.
Suzanne was the medical driving force behind Inala Primary Care’s award-winning Keeping Kidneys program, work recognised with Kidney Health Australia’s Operation Angel award and a 2024 Queensland Day Award. She’s trained GP registrars for over 15 years, stays research-active, and now leads Sandstone’s Centre of Excellence for Healthy Ageing.
At Yeerongpilly, Suzanne’s focus is on improving health span, not just lifespan – helping people maintain capability, clarity and confidence as they age. She’s known for seeing the whole person, listening deeply, and finding practical pathways that fit real lives.
Suzanne says: ‘People know when they’re really being listened to – and that feeling is healing in itself. My job is to see the person in front of me, hear what’s really going on, and find a way forward that makes sense for them. Good medicine isn’t about perfection – it’s about making something better today, working together over time, building trust.’
We’re passionate about good health.
This means our whole team – GPs, nurses, allied health, specialists – work together to give you the time and attention you need. We get to know you, earn your trust, and use our combined specialties to offer new and improved models of care.

Our team sees this as a partnership with you because you know your own life best. And with each other, because great healthcare isn’t a solo act.
As a not-for-profit practice, we invest profits back into bringing fairness and quality healthcare to the communities who need it.
We put our passion into practice because that’s what the best healthcare needs.
