Health for good!
Why Allied Health Matters
Your body and mind are unique and deserve the very best attention. Sometimes your GP is exactly who you need but other times, you need someone else too.
That’s where allied health comes in. Podiatrists. Physiotherapists. Psychologists. Dieticians. Occupational Therapists. Pharmacists. They’re experts in keeping you moving, managing medications, and helping you do the things that matter to you.

How to access allied health
You can see our allied health team with a Medicare rebate (if you’re eligible) or by paying privately. If you have private health cover, check with your insurer about what’s reimbursable.
Talk to our reception team about booking in.

Why this matters
Even patients with complex health needs spend just five hours a year face-to-face with their GP. That’s NHS England data, and it’s probably similar here in Australia.
Five hours a year isn’t enough to keep you well.
Allied health providers can give you more time, more support, and more skills to manage your own health. Whether that’s getting stronger, moving better, managing pain, or understanding your medications.
Your current health isn’t your destiny. A good team around you can help you achieve what matters to you – living well and feeling better about your health, for longer. That’s the health for good promise.
Podiatry with Margot Manning
Margot’s a lower limb expert who works across our Inala and Yeerongpilly practices. She’s spent decades coaching athletes and managing a running academy, so if you’re recovering from injury, training for a marathon (or hoping to), she knows exactly how to help.
She’s also highly experienced in diabetes foot care and works extensively with older patients who need support with nail care, wound management, or just keeping mobile and comfortable.
Medicare rebates apply if you have a chronic conditions management plan, and you can also claim through private health insurance.

Pharmacy - medication reviews
Taking five or more medications? You might be at risk of drug interactions that could slow you down or land you in hospital.
Our non-dispensing pharmacist can visit your home to review everything you’re taking – prescribed medications, over the counter supplements, all of it. She’ll work out what’s helping, what might be causing problems, and whether anything could be reduced or stopped.
Within days, your GP gets a comprehensive report. Then you’ll have an appointment to talk through the recommendations together. It might save you money by cutting medications you no longer need. It might save you harm by spotting interactions nobody caught before too.
Ask your doctor about booking a medication review at your next appointment.
Physiotherapy – addressing pain and movement
Back and muscle pain are the most common reasons people seek physiotherapy inputs. Across our sites we offer access to experienced physiotherapists, each with special interests; because each case can be special.
Our physiotherapists actively engage with our GPs so that your rehabilitation, pain management and movement support is collaborative; reducing the reliance on medication and more interventional therapy wherever possible. We work as a team because together with you, everyone can achieve more!
