Health for good!
Our Services

GP Care
Our GPs provide comprehensive care, from routine and preventive health to complex conditions. Some have special interests in women’s health, mental health, or chronic disease.

Nursing Services
Our nurses help you manage chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, asthma, or chronic pain. This service is at no extra cost for conditions lasting more than three months.

Allied Health
We offer a variety of allied health services in-house from podiatry to physiotherapy and counselling. Also pharmacist home visits to review your medications. Talk to our team to find out more.
General Practice

GP Care
This is the foundation of what we do: caring for you when you’re unwell, helping you stay well, and supporting your health goals over time.
From acute illness and preventive care to chronic disease management and mental health support, our GPs bring depth of experience across the full spectrum of general practice. We see you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms.
Focused Clinics
Some health conditions benefit from a coordinated, team-based approach that brings multiple professionals together around you.
Nursing Services
Our nurses put their passion into practice every day, supporting you to keep well and do the things you love.
They’re often the first people you’ll talk to and the ones who follow up to make sure things are going to plan. They support chronic disease management, coordinate care when multiple services are involved, and make sure you’re not isolated or overwhelmed.
Allied Health Services
Sometimes managing your health means working with professionals beyond your GP and nurse.
Podiatrists, pharmacists, and other allied health practitioners bring targeted expertise when you need it. They can give you more time, more support, and more skills to manage your own health—whether that’s getting stronger, moving better, or understanding your medications.
Fees and billing information
Billing
Sandstone Healthcare Yeerongpilly is a private billing practice. You’ll pay for your consultation at the time of your appointment and receive a Medicare rebate. Our sister clinic, Sandstone Inala Primary Care, is a fully bulk billing practice.
Fees
Our fees reflect the time and expertise your care requires. We’ll always discuss costs before proceeding with any treatment or procedure.
We are cashless
We accept card payments and digital payment methods. This helps us keep your appointment running smoothly and reduces wait times at reception.
Health records
Managing your healthcare means getting to know you. That means your goals, your health history, your family history, your travel exposure and work. When joining our practice, our nurse will take your history to ensure we have all we need to know.
Our reception team will also work with you to locate and amalgamate the health records stored by your previous practices. Everything in one place is good for you and great for us. Less gets missed. You need not carry the detail around in your head either!

Shared Medical Appointments
Shared medical appointments bring together a small group of patients with similar health concerns to meet with a GP as a group.
Instead of individual consultations, patients learn together, share experiences, and develop management strategies in a supportive environment facilitated by their doctor.
How They Work
Each session combines medical care with peer support and group learning. Patients receive individual attention within the group setting while benefiting from hearing others’ questions and experiences.
The approach can work particularly well for chronic conditions like diabetes, heart health, or persistent pain where self-management skills and lifestyle changes play a crucial role.
Leading the Way
Sandstone Inala Primary Care has pioneered shared medical appointments in Australian general practice, developing and refining this model through careful implementation.
We’ve shared our experience across the healthcare sector and created a practical guide to help other practices establish their own programs.
Interested in Learning More?
If you’d like to discuss shared medical appointments further, whether as a patient interested in participating or a healthcare provider wanting to implement this model, please get in touch.
Teaching Practice
We host junior doctors, medical students, and nursing students to help grow Australia’s health workforce. Learners see patients under close supervision from experienced GPs and nurses.
You’re always in control of whether a student is involved in your care. If you’d prefer not to have a learner present, just let us know when booking or at the start of your appointment. There’s no pressure either way.
Your regular GP or nurse remains responsible for your care throughout. Many patients find it rewarding to contribute to training the next generation of healthcare professionals.
