Overview

Colleagues collaborating on a project around a table with laptops and documents.

Sandstone forms when thousands of different grains of sand come together, each one adding to the layers. Over time, they create something solid, beautiful, and lasting.

That’s how we work. Every person who joins us—whether as a team member, partner, or supporter—adds something unique that shapes what we can build next.

Health for good!

Work with Us

If you came to healthcare to make a difference, we’ll help you do exactly that.

We’re a growing team operating multiple practices across Brisbane. Our clinicians have time to think, space to develop special interests, and colleagues who share knowledge freely. You can lead projects, test new care models, teach students, and shape how we work.

We support quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and system advocacy. Whether you’re clinical or administrative, there’s room to grow into leadership if that’s where you want to go.

Work with colleagues not solo.

Create impact as a team delivering great care rather than having to play all the roles of a team when you are the only carer.

Leverage our systems.

Your best thinking can be done with patients not after hours chasing through paperwork. You even get to take leave knowing others will manage your inbox and take care of patients. That is healthcare for your good!

Growth is a sign of life.

That is why we encourage all of our team to keep growing. Expanding their interests. Embracing new career options within our growing organisation.

Right care, right time, right place, right provider.

This is core to what we do. We create and apply evidence and teach others how to do the right thing meaning care is safer, more effective and better value for all.

Partner with Us

We’ve built our best work through partnerships. Our diabetes service with Queensland Health, our refugee care team from Mater, our software ventures with tech firms—they all started with a conversation about filling a gap.

We’re interested in partnerships that improve care:

  • Clinical innovation and new care models
  • Research and patient recruitment
  • System advocacy and reform
  • Software trials and technology testing
  • Study tours and clinician access

If you’re working on something that could benefit from our experience, patients, or practice infrastructure, get in touch.

About Us

Research Programmes

We run six to eight quality improvement projects at any given time, support external researchers, and pursue our own research when it can directly improve patient care.

If you’re a medical registrar interested in research placement, or a clinician pursuing Masters or Doctoral studies, we can provide:

  • Patient recruitment and data access
  • Clinical governance support
  • A workplace where you can gather data
  • Colleagues who understand research

We have a Manager of Research and Collaboration, a research-active CEO, and a Clinical Director who publishes regularly. We’ve supported multiple academic studies and their resulting publications.

Medicare funds standard care, but not the innovation that shapes better healthcare for tomorrow. That’s where philanthropy comes in.

Our innovation projects have real impact. We’ve pioneered retinal screening in general practice, developed models that bring hospital specialists into community settings, and created pathways for healthy aging. We’re currently testing non-invasive fatty liver screening, digital cardiac rehabilitation, and social prescribing programs that address loneliness as a health risk.

Each project requires partnerships, pilot funding, data collection, and time to prove what works—resources that standard practice income can’t cover.

Your support funds:

  • Research and pilot programs
  • New care models and technology trials
  • Training and system advocacy
  • Innovation that spreads beyond our practice

We’re a registered charity. All donations are tax-deductible.

Here's something we've come to understand after years in this work: most of what we do is reactive. Someone comes in with a problem—a cough that won't shift, a knee that's playing up, a rash that's worrying them.
