Dr Jamie Nuttall is Clinical Director at Sandstone Healthcare Yeerongpilly, seeing patients across the full range of health concerns. He has special interests in persistent pain, migraine, diabetes, and mental health, and has worked across diverse health settings including Aboriginal community-controlled services and Metro South Pain Rehabilitation Centre at PA Hospital.
Jamie values a holistic approach, combining thorough medical assessment and evidence-based treatment with attention to the bigger picture. When he joined Sandstone in 2016 as a registrar, he found a shared commitment to equity and justice.
He works to help you develop a clear understanding of what’s going on and feel more in control of your health decisions. Jamie has the title of Senior Lecturer at University of Queensland, where he won a clinical teaching award in 2025.
Jamie says: ‘Some people arrive feeling completely overwhelmed—nothing’s making sense and they’re not sure anyone’s really listening. What I love is having the time to properly hear their story and work out what’s actually going on. Often, it’s not about one thing. When you take time to untangle it, make sense of it together, and create a path forward, people realize they have some control again.’
We’re passionate about good health.
This means our whole team – GPs, nurses, allied health, specialists – work together to give you the time and attention you need. We get to know you, earn your trust, and use our combined specialties to offer new and improved models of care.

Our team sees this as a partnership with you because you know your own life best. And with each other, because great healthcare isn’t a solo act.
As a not-for-profit practice, we invest profits back into bringing fairness and quality healthcare to the communities who need it.
We put our passion into practice because that’s what the best healthcare needs.
